The picturesque seaside town of Petrcane is located in a wide bay, 14 km northwest of Zadar. It prepares a number of entertainment programs and folk festivals for its guests. From the centre, it is easy to walk to the hotel resorts that lie on its outskirts. The beaches are natural rocky, partly made of small pebbles, suitable for children. Natural rocky slabs are complemented by concrete platforms for sunbathing. The beaches are lined with pine forests.
