The town of Trogir is another fantastic jewel in the crown of Croatian tourist destinations, just 20 minutes from the airport. It is a small island connected by one short bridge to the mainland and one short bridge to the island of Ciovo. Like Dubrovnik, it is a medieval fortified town and has been declared a World Heritage Site with UNESCO protection. The island of Ciovo is also partly protected by the World Heritage Site, but has “party beaches” and several fishing villages. Due to the popularity of these beaches, Ciovo properties are popular as a place to invest in Croatian real estate.
